R. Luke DuBois is a composer, artist, and performer who explores the temporal, verbal, and visual structures of cultural and personal ephemera. He has a keen understanding of technology and sound; his work is often immersive and interactive. He holds a doctorate in music composition from Columbia University, and has lectured and taught worldwide on interactive sound and video performance. He exhibits internationally and is in collections worldwide. DuBois currently lives and works in New York.

Tracey Emin’s art is one of disclosure. Using life events as inspiration she has created a highly individualistic body of work. She is considered one of the most prolific and successful artists in the world, and is represented in most major collections. Born in London she studied at Maidstone College of Art and the Royal College of Art. Her work is exhibited extensively worldwide. She represented Britain at the 52nd Venice Biennale. She was made a Royal Academician, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Royal College of Art, a Doctor of Letters from the University of Kent and Doctor of Philosophy from London Metropolitan University. Emin currently lives and works in London.

Christoph Girardet and Matthias Müller have been working together since 1999. Collaboratively they almost always use found cinematic or television footage in their work. Both artists were born in Germany in the early 60’s. They have exhibited internationally at such venues as the MOMA New York, Stedelijk Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, New York, and the Hirshhorn Museum Washington, Tate Modern. The Museum of Modern Art, NYC mounted a recent retrospective dedicated to Matthias Muller. They live and work in Germany.

Jillian McDonald is a Canadian artist who divides her time between New York and Canada. Her work incorporates an interest in the products of mass media with a focus on social engagement. She is Associate Professor of Art at Pace University. In 2012 she received the prestigious Glenfiddich Canadian Art Prize. She exhibits internationally and has been Artist in Residence at a number of locations worldwide.

Tracey Moffatt was born in 1960 in Brisbane, Australia. She studied visual communications from the Queensland College of Art. Her work investigates issues such as race, childhood trauma, and the media. She has exhibited worldwide and her work is held in major international collections. In 2012 MOMA NY held a retrospective of her work. She lives and works in New York and Australia.

Nicolas Provost is a visual artist and filmmaker. He uses the language of film, manipulating time, codes and cinematic form. He has exhibited internationally at such venues as The Seattle Art Museum, Musée d’art moderne et contemporain, Strasbourg, France, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam. His work is in collections worldwide. Born in Belgium he now lives and works in New York and Belgium.

Pipilotti Rist’s multimedia installations explore female sexuality and media culture through playful and provocative remixes of fantasy and the everyday. Rist was a member of the experimental 80’s post-punk pop group Les Reines Prochaines. She created a series of single-channel works that subvert the form of the music video to explore the female voice and body in pop cultural representations, merging rock music and performance with electronic manipulation. She developed a video aesthetic that takes its cues from television and advertising, as well as from a rich history of feminist video work Rist has become one of the most recognizable names in contemporary video art. Pipilotti Rist was born in 1962 in Switzerland. She studied at the Institute of Applied Arts in Vienna and the School of Design in Basel. She has had solo exhibitions at most major international art institutions.

Brendan Van Hek works with neon, glass, mirror and metal, manipulating these materials to extend and negate their symbolic potential. However Light is the main component of his work. His work often deals with narratives located in personal history, fiction and cultural products. He graduated from Curtin University of Technology, Australia in 2001. He exhibits throughout Australia and now internationally.

Angela Washko’s work combines an interest in social engagement with creating new forums for discussions of feminism. Her work often incorporates actions, interventions, videos, and performances – sometimes in video games. She's the founder of the Council on Gender Sensitivity and Behavioral Awareness in World of Warcraft to bring attention to and protest the sexist language from players in the game. Washko's projects have been written about by The Guardian (UK), ARTnews, VICE, Hyperallergic, Rhizome, the New York Times, The Creator's Project, Digicult, Bad At Sports. She has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She is a graduate of the Tyler School of Art/Temple University. Based in New York, she is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts at University of California, San Diego.
